2020 Summer taxes are due 7/1/20 – 9/14/20 without penalty or interest.

No refunds $10.00 and under. Taxes are payable to Township Treasurer. Payments made on or after September 15, 2020, add interest of 1% per month or fraction of month.

All taxes paid after February 16, 2021, are subject to 3% penalty.  Fabius Township collects 2020 taxes at Township Hall through 3/1/21.  On or after March 2, 2021, delinquent taxes are paid to the County Treasurer. Call 269-467-5525 for correct payoff amount.

If you want a receipt for summer taxes, please send a self-address, stamped envelope. Otherwise you will not receive a summer tax receipt in the mail.

  • Tuesday, July 7, 2020 – 9am-1pm
  • Tuesday, August 11, 2020 – 9am-1pm
  • Tuesday, September 15, 2020 – 9am-5pm, closed from 12-1

The following link will allow you to view your individual tax records & assessing records at no charge. If you wish to view someone else’s records there will be a fee of $2.00. All banks and mortgage companies can view anyone’s records for a fee of $2.00 each. All you do is click on the link and follow the directions to set up your account. If you are a business you can set up a business account.  Go to www.accessmygov.com

If you wish to view delinquent tax information you may go to the County’s link to view that information.  Delinquent taxes are taxes from the previous years.  Current year summer taxes are still collected by the Township Treasurer.

Our mailing address is PO Box 87, Three Rivers, MI 49093, and we have a drop box located on the upper level of the Township Hall. As always, if you want to pay your taxes in person, you may do so anytime I am in the office. You should call ahead to be sure I am here, or if you are driving by and see my car, come on in and I will be happy to help you. Otherwise, these are the scheduled days I will be here to collect.

IF YOU ARE PAYING WITH CASH, PAYMENTS MUST BE THE EXACT AMOUNT. WE DO NOT KEEP CHANGE IN THE OFFICE.

PRINCIPAL RESIDENCE EXEMPTIONS:

You must own and occupy your home as your principal residence in order to qualify for PRE (Homestead). In order to claim a PRE for the current year a Principal Residence Exemption Affidavit must have been completed and filed with the assessor’s office prior to November 1. If you sell your property you must rescind the Principal Residence Exemption.  All forms are available at the Treasurer’s office or by contacting the assessor, Dale Hutson, at (269) 432-2834.

Please notify the Treasurer if you have a change of address. If we do not have a current address for you and your bill is returned that will not relieve you of your responsibility to pay your bill on time. Look on the back of your tax bill for change of address notification or call my office.
