In the past, the townships have been able to heave a sigh of relief after the results from the national election have been turned into the County Clerk. Not anymore! Beginning this year, the local municipalities will be responsible for administering the local school elections.

I know…you just got used to going to the Three Rivers Middle School to vote for school board members and any bond issues. Beginning this May, you will be voting in the Fabius Township Hall for these school- related issues.

If you will be needing absentee ballots for this school election, please send a note to me stating that you will need an absentee ballot, sign your name as it appears on your registration or driver’s license, and mail it to me at PO Box 455, Three Rivers. As soon as I have ballots, I will send one along to you.
